Interlocking System
Each SolarFrame® module has eight Lego® inspired locking mechanisms to join
with neighboring modules. This lightweight, aerodynamic design requires no roof
penetration. It is engineered and wind tunnel tested to withstand winds up to 110
mph for both Exposure Categories B and C, and Seismic Zones 1-4. SolarFrames®
are designed to promote open airflow and self-draining water channels prevent
mold and vegetative growth to ensure installed solar panels operate at maximum
efficiency.
Fast & Easy Installation
The revolutionary interlocking design of the SolarFrame® renders old styles of metal
racking obsolete. The polymer construction of the frames eliminates the need for
nuts and bolts as well as the need for copper grounding of each module. The effect
is that SolarFrames® vastly reduce the expected installation time and costs for solar
electric systems and result in a much shorter payback time on installation costs. At
a fraction of the weight of metal racking systems SolarFrames® are appropriate for
large and small flat roofs.
